The play takes place right after World War II, in New Orleans, Louisiana. The Kowalski apartment is in a poor but charming neighborhood in the French Quarter. Stella, twenty-five years old and pregnant, lives with her blue collar husband Stanley Kowalski.

Brought back by popular demand, this hilarious Cajun musical retelling of the classic Cinderella fable sold out 7 weeks of performances last season! Our version takes place in lower Lafourche Parish. Poor Cinderella Battistella lives with her wicked Step Mama and her mean, ugly Stepsisters way down the bayou at the Pointe a Saucisse. She's the saddest girl south of Cloverly. Her dream of going to the Twelve Night Ball to be crowned The King Cake Queen lies in the magic of her Voodoo Princess fairy God Mama who lives on the South Side of the Inter-Coastal Canal, down by la Butte de Coquille. This local Cajun cast of storybook characters will once again sing, dance and win the hearts of the entire family!
